ABOUT US
Needless to say, the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the education of all young people in a unique way. We have spoken to many parents that feel their child is faced with gaps in their knowledge and a dented confidence in their ability to learn and perform. However, finding a tutor with the experience and expertise for your child can be a little overwhelming. This is why we started BradfieldTuition – to provide an expert, reliable tutoring service to help restore and boost every child’s academic performance and confidence.

We are Oli and Maria - the cofounders of BradfieldTuition - and both fully qualified teachers (VIT registred) with extensive experience in the classroom and currently teach at a top school in Melbourne. We have been offering exceptional tutoring services in Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry since 2015, and we pride ourselves on being approachable tutors. We both also have a deep interest in our respective subjects (Oli for Maths and Physics; Maria for Biology and Chemistry). This is combined with an excitement and motivation to teach those that are willing, with tailor-made study programmes to suit any individual. Communication is key – we will be careful to keep checking with you and with your child to ensure that we are supporting your child and making maximum progress during each session.

OLIVER BRADFIELD
Co-Founder - Maths and Physics Specialist
I have seven years tutoring experience and I am a fully qualified Maths and Physics Teacher, teaching both subjects at Brighton College, Whitgift School in the UK, Cranleigh Abu Dhabi in the UAE and now Brighton Grammar School in Melbourne.

​I pride myself on making my tutoring sessions engaging and interesting, whilst stretching each pupil to achieve their full potential. My knowledge and experience of education theories means that I am able to deliver an up-to-date and effective programme to suit the needs of each individual.
​
I am offering tutoring services in Maths and Physics at all levels, including to KS3, GCSE and A-Level standard.

MARIA BRADFIELD
Co-Founder - Biology, Chemistry and Physics Specialist
I have four years tutoring experience and I am a fully qualified Science Teacher, teaching the subject at Whitgift School in the UK and Cranleigh Abu Dhabi in the UAE, before moving to Melbourne and I am currently a teacher at Brighton Grammar School.

I have a real passion for learning about all the different weird and wonderful forms of life on Earth - a passion that was cemented during my studies at Oxford University. Since then I have discovered a real passion for teaching others and helping them to achieve their potential. I am very lucky to combine these two passions as a Tutor and Teacher!

I am offering tutoring services in Biology for students of all ages and levels, up to A-Level. I am also offering Chemistry, Physics and Maths tutoring from KS3 to GCSE.

Oliver has been really helpful teaching GCSE Physics and Maths, encouraging and motivating a previously reluctant student to make significant progress in regards to his grades. Oliver`s attitude is fairly down to earth and he knows how to communicate effectively with young adults. He is able to explain difficult concepts clearly and knows the subject area well. Oliver has been tutoring for us each week for over a year now leading to three A`s at GCSE triple science which was not expected!
